Service Description
Whether you are just a beginner or a practiced Artist, we will explore different mediums weekly and focus on Still Lives, Portraits and Landscapes weekly. Ill teach you how to work quickly so you can spend more time on details at the end of a piece. Classes are offered on Monday mornings at 10am est, Wednesday afternoons at 2 pm and Saturday afternoons at 2 pm est. You are welcome to attend ALL three Zoom Classes those days during those 6 weeks. Zoom's will be 2 hours long. Week 1 - Value Studies using Pencil & Charcoal. Looking at Chiaroscuro and its importance. Week 2 - Colour Blocking with Markers & Coloured pencils Week 3 -Pastels - oil pastels, wax pastels & chalk pastels (soft pastels) Week 4 - Washes with Watercolours, working on mixing colours to capture likeness. Week 5 - Gouache and crayons Week 6 - Acrylics & Acrylic Inks MATERIALS NEEDED : All the above, or use what you have which is similar to the mediums above. Sketchbook paper and Mixed Media or Watercolour paper.
