Let’s make art together! Learn to create a daily practice. Workshops run : Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays at 10am est - 12 pm est. You can be at any level in your Art journey! I’ll show you how staying loose can be fun & how this really encompasses the Wabi-Sabi way!. We'll create sketches from the images given & also look at ourselves and create some fun mixed media pieces. Watch how I simplify the human figure and capture clothing, making this an easy daily practice. Bring a mix of different mediums but I will be demonstrating main images painted with Gouache , Caran D’Ache neocolor 2’s and other mixed media for the Workshop.(you can use what you have in your art box) I'll be drawing & painting on a 9x12 piece of paper or in a sketchbook. Most likely smooth paper or hot press watercolour paper which isn't grainy . I’ll also have heavy cardstock for the sketches. Learn and chat whilst drawing and painting with me for the 2 hour session. ⭐️The 9 Workshops are : 1.Daily figure drawing & the Wabi-Sabi approach of Loose lines & Expressiveness in Art. 2.Painting “Quiet Beauty “ minimalist still life with Wabi-Sabi inspired principles. 3. “Sketching & painting impermanence” . Using weathered objects as a Wabi-Sabi form of inspiration. 4“Painting portraits in earthy hues” Exploring natural colours whilst enjoying wabi-sabi inspired approaches. 5. “Drawing & painting soft landscapes” Wabi-sabi nature inspired art. 6. “Muted tones”The Art of subtlety in wabi-sabi painting. 7.”Shadow & Light “ Exploring wabi-Sabi techniques & the subtle contrasts in drawing . 8. “Lovely & loose painted interiors”Using a Wabi-sabi Inspired palette & approach. 9. Painting Peaceful Motifs & Symbols with Wabi-Sabi aesthetics. 🌟WHEN you purchase the workshops in a group, there will be an email sent out with all the zoom links and a Padlet created for your convenience to house the reference photos and the links to the replays. I will also create a Instagram group chat to add these links to. ⭐️IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT to the LIVE class: All the sessions are recorded and you can access them at your own leisure.
