Gouache Still Life Painting Workshop

Service Description

Let’s paint together! You can be at any level in your Art journey! I’ll show you how I proportion, simplify and then add detail to a still Life painting with Gouache Paints. We'll create compositional sketches of still life set ups. I'll provide a main reference photo for the workshops and a reference or two for variety. We'll work from one main reference photo for the longer painting. I will be demonstrating the main painting with Holbein Designer Gouache Paints, but you can use any brand you wish. I usually just work with the primary colours plus white. I'll be painting on a 9x12 or a 12 x 12 or a 12x18 piece of paper or cardboard.I will use Canson XL watercolour paper which isn't too grainy . If you have Hot Press Paper you can use that too, or a canvas. I’ll also have sketchbooks for the warm up sketches. Learn and chat whilst drawing with me for the 2 hour session. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT : All the sessions are recorded and you can access them at your own leisure. Please note you do not have to have your Camera on for these workshops.
