Service Description

These Art Workshops are for ALL skill Levels. I’m going to show you the importance of loose and expressive art. I’ll teach you to find joy in the process and not so much the completed image. Join me all Summer! There will be TECH TUESDAY (for the 1st 3 weeks) at 10am est for 2 hours, and WEDNESDAY WORKSHOPS every week on Zoom for 2 hours. Every Workshop will be recorded for you to watch at your own time and at your own pace. (If I go too fast) I'll go over the fundamental elements you'll need to give you more confidence in your Art Journey. You could be a complete beginner or just want to join in and enjoy the practice and spend time with me in your studio/art space/kitchen table for 4 hours a week. Practice is always great. How is this package different from others you’ve taken? I’ll teach you to see your strengths and correct weaknesses in your work. Even I have weaknesses! I want to help you make choices in your own pieces, to dig deep and enjoy your personal decisions. THIS will build your confidence and develop your own style. The Workshop Titles are : 1. A Glossary & Demonstration on key phrases & exercises I use in a Workshop 2. By The Lake. 3. Choosing reference photos for your Artwork 4. Oh Deer - Painting Deer. 5. Learning to paint En Plein Air 6. Bringing Life to your Landscapes. 7. From Blank Pages to Beautiful Chaos. 8.Figures at Home 9.Deer in Light and Landscape 10.Intuitive Imperfections 11.Painted Interiors - Colour first, form later. Materials needed : Sketchbook and paper for wet mediums. Dry mediums: wax or oil pastels, pencil crayons, markers. Wet mediums :watercolour and or gouache. I'll provide extra reference images for you to work on throughout the week, we'll have a group on IG (blueshineart) chat where you can share your work and ask questions throughout the week.
